CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
This course provided through the American Heart Association provides the knowledge and skills that may help save a life. It covers basics of CPR and First Aid, including how to recognize life-threatening emergencies and how to perform lifesaving skills.
Who should take the course?
This course is intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a certification card for a job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. This class is open to the public.

Course Covers:
Adult CPR and AED Use, Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies, Child CPR and AED, Infant CPR, First Aid Basics, Choking in an Adult, Child, or Infant.
Course Format:
The CPR/AED portion is 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
First Aid begins at 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
Students may take both CPR/AED & First Aid or either CPR/AED or First Aid individually.
Cost:
If taking both CPR/AED & First Aid, the cost is $90.00. Students taking CPR/AED or First Aid only, will be charged $50.00 per session.

Other Information:
-Blood Borne Pathogen (BBP) class is available following First Aid. Please call if BBP is needed. The cost is $10.00.
