PALS Recertification

RECERTIFICATION COURSE:
This course is designed for experienced providers with current BLS and PALS certification. Participants will be subject to lecture, demonstrations and discussions of AHA PALS guidelines.

COURSE COST: $200.00

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Please register for the course by confirming your RSVP below. PALS textbook will be provided to you before the start of the course if you wish, please stop by the Education Center Mon-Fri to get it, or you can pick it up the day of the course. If you already have the current book from your last class, you do not need a new book. Due to COVID-19 class size is limited, all students must wear a face covering if St. Clair County is in the “High Risk” category for COVID and maintain social distancing to the extent possible.

COURSE OVERVIEW:
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training courses are based on AHA Standards and are designed for medical, nursing, allied health and paramedic personnel to enhance skills and apply current standards during the delivery of emergency pediatric care

REQUIREMENTS:
The American Heart Association requires that participants in the PALS program possess a current Basic Life Support card. Those students taking the refresher program will also need to possess a current PALS card. BLS will be only offered by request for an additional $50 charge.

CANCELATIONS:
A $50.00 processing fee will be applicable for cancellations with failure to return materials and for no shows to the course.
